Atelier OÏ x Venini, Stelle Filenti
The Swiss design studio Atelier Oï created the "Stelle Filenti" ("shooting stars") hanging lamps for Venetian company Venini. Venini's art director Roberto Gasparotto invited Atelier Oï to experiment with the most traditional Venetian artistic craft material, glass, combined with leather and Alcantara fabric. A net supports and envelops the top of the blown-glass diffuser.

5 seconds to pitch a story: Milan-based creative studio H-57 collaborated with First Floor Under to depict the story of famous people in history, using infographics. Le designer Christopher Jarratt s’est illustré avec succès en créant des lance-pierres (slingshots) démesurés. Adulescents et nostalgiques apprécieront tout autant sa nouvelle marotte : le cerf-volant. Un projet ouvert à tous, en collaboration avec le très sérieux MIT Media Lab (Massachussets Institute of Technology) et mené par une poignée de talentueux designers graphiques.
Designer Christopher Jarratt’s name was made famous thanks to his giant slingshots. Once more bringing childhood memories back to life, his new project involves kites, the prestigious MIT Media Lab (Massachussets Institute of Technology) and a bunch of talented graphic designers.
Le designer britannique et ses acolytes organisent un festival d’une semaine : ateliers et événements variés seront gratuitement proposé aux participants de tous horizons. « Une simple occasion d’explorer l’enfant qui sommeille en vous ! », s’amuse Christopher Jarratt.
