Atelier OÏ x Venini, Stelle Filenti
The Swiss design studio Atelier Oï created the "Stelle Filenti" ("shooting stars") hanging lamps for Venetian company Venini. Venini's art director Roberto Gasparotto invited Atelier Oï to experiment with the most traditional Venetian artistic craft material, glass, combined with leather and Alcantara fabric. A net supports and envelops the top of the blown-glass diffuser.

The 5-second story
5 seconds to pitch a story: Milan-based creative studio H-57 collaborated with First Floor Under to depict the story of famous people in history, using infographics. The pictogram posters feature the stories of Michael Jackson, Napoleon, Julius Caesar, Marie-Antoinette, Jesus, Adolf Hitler, The Beatles or Bruce Lee.

Lievore Altherr Molina x Arper, Aya Chair
Barcelona-based design studio Lievore Altherr Molina have designed the Saya chair for Italian furniture brand Arper. The mirrored V-shape of both backrest and seat part, the structure dramatically narrowing at the small of the back convey a vague familiar feeling (think Arne Jacobsen, Norman Cherner, or event the Eames Bikini chair…).
Le studio de design Lievore Altherr Molina (Barcelone) signe la chaise Saya chair pour l’éditeur de mobilier italien Arper. Les lignes en « V » du dossier et de l’assise, l’étrécissement marqué de la jonction des deux parties confèrent un air vaguement familier à la chaise (on pense à Arne Jacobsen, Norman Cherner, ou même à la chaise Bikini des Eames…).
The Spanish design studio made the chair in oak and applied a natural stain finish. The (stackable) Aya chair for Arper will be launched in April at the Milan Salone.
Le studio de design espagnol a choisi de réaliser la chaise en bois de chêne, sur lequel est appliqué une teinture naturelle en finition. La chaise (empilable) Aya sera officiellement lancée en avril à l’occasion du Salon du Milan.
