Atelier OÏ x Venini, Stelle Filenti
The Swiss design studio Atelier Oï created the "Stelle Filenti" ("shooting stars") hanging lamps for Venetian company Venini. Venini's art director Roberto Gasparotto invited Atelier Oï to experiment with the most traditional Venetian artistic craft material, glass, combined with leather and Alcantara fabric. A net supports and envelops the top of the blown-glass diffuser.

The 5-second story
5 seconds to pitch a story: Milan-based creative studio H-57 collaborated with First Floor Under to depict the story of famous people in history, using infographics. The pictogram posters feature the stories of Michael Jackson, Napoleon, Julius Caesar, Marie-Antoinette, Jesus, Adolf Hitler, The Beatles or Bruce Lee.

Audrey Leroy, Scissor Stairs
Designer et architecte d’intérieur, Audrey Leroy a imaginé et réalisé cet escalier modulable, peu encombrant et d’allure sculpturale.
A double scissor system enables the flight of stairs a maximum height, needing few floor space. Audrey Leroy presented her graduation exam project in small-scale versions (using pine wood, though she hopes to produce upcoming pieces in beech) at the LISAA school of applied arts, Rennes, in 2011.
Le système de ciseaux, ici doublé, permet à l’escalier de s’étirer à sa hauteur maximum tout en minimisant l’espace occupé au sol. Audrey Leroy a présenté les premières versions de son projet (en pin, bien qu’elle envisage de réaliser les prochaines pièces en bois de hêtre) à l’occasion de l’exposition des projets de fin d’année à LISAA Rennes, école d’art appliqués dont elle est diplômée, en juin 2011.
