Neil Conley, Submariner lamp

Designed by Neil Conley, the Submariner is a dimmable table lamp, recently launched at the Design Junction, during the London Design Festival 2012.

The shape and construction of the Submariner lamp refer to the materials and techniques used in marine exploration: porthole, diving helmets and periscope… The shell of the lamp is made of two pieces of enamel gloss, matte or galvanized steel (made rigid thanks to the use of a bead roll machine), assembled and held together with worm-driven clamps.
