After its debut in Milan, the Kartell Goes Sottsass collection, with never-before-seen products by design icon Ettore Sottsass, was exhibited during the M&O trade fair in Paris (22-26 January). Imagined in 2004 for Kartell but never produced, the collection includes four vases, three tabouret stools and one lamp. Chairs, sofas and futons created by designers Piero LissoniPhilippe Starck and Patricia Urquiola for Kartell were given a new twist thanks to a collaboration with Memphis Group members like Nathalie du Pasquier and George Sowden to design new Memphis-inspired fabrics, in vivid colors, bold prints, geometric patterns. Alaso seen at imm Cologne, the special showcase will continue onto the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair in February.
